I like to think of new product ideas. Sometimes they just come to me. Some may be outrageous and impossible to produce, but I am going to share them anyways. This one came to me a few weeks ago. Wouldn’t it be beneficial to runners, race officials, and medical staff to be able to monitor the condition of runners as they participate in road races? Runners could where an arm band that changed colors based on the condition of the runner. If the runner’s temperature reached a certain threshold, the arm band would change to red to notify the staff along the course to watch the runner closely. They could decided to pull the runner off the course for health concerns or just be prepared to intervene should the runner’s condition worsen.
